V (5th) World Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples
Khanty-Mansiisk, Russian Federation June 27 – July 1, 2008
The lead theme of the Congress was “Identity and A Changing World”. The World Congress was attended by approximately 300 delegates and as many observers.
The Congress had two plenary sessions – for opening and closing. In the interim, work was conducted in the following sections: “Ethno-politics and law”, “Culture, language and education”, “Media and journalism” and “Health, demography and family”.
