An Enets language learning app released in Kursk
Students of “Quantorium”, Georgy Sergeev, Artyom Sevryukov and Victoria Demchenko created an application “Enchuu” for learning the Enets language.
The application includes the alphabet, video tutorials from the Project Office for the Development of the Arctic and tests, according to the Seim TV and radio company. The application was presented at the regional festival “Children. Technique. Creativity”.
At the moment, the app works only on computers, but there are plans to develop a version for smartphones.
According to the 2021 Russian Census, 201 Enets live in Russia and there are less than thirty native speakers of the language.
