VIII World Congress Hosts Unique Cultural Experiences in Tartu

Free programme includes viewings of documentaries, concert of chamber choir Collegium Musicale in Toomemägi, several special exhibitions and a free discussion in Loodusmaja.

Director and Cameraman Renato Borrayo Serrano, Producer Marianna Kaat, Composer Timo Steiner. The film is followed by discussion between ethnologists and experts of the Nenets culture Liivo Niglas and Laur Vallikivi.

The Fenno-Ugric people get own coin in the year of the VIII Congress. The two-euro coin was designed by artists Al Paldrok and Madis Põldsaar.

VIII World Congress of Fenno-Ugric Peoples is held on June 16.-18., 2021 at Estonian National Museum in Tartu. The opening and closing ceremonies of the Congress are broadcasted live by ERR News and the Fenno-Ugria website.
