Opening event of the Finno-Ugric Capital of Culture 2025

12.00-12.30 – Gathering of participants and national tea party at the House of Ingria.

12.30-14.00 – Procession from Narva promenade to the Town Hall building.

14.00-14.30 – Presentation of the title and symbol of the Finno-Ugric Capital of Culture to Narva in the main hall of the Town Hall.

15.00 – Festive reception

16.00-17.30 – Concert in the lobby of Narva College.

18.00 – Evening of national tea and informal communication at the House of Ingria.

Sunday, 2 March 2025

11.00-12.00 – Solemn concert-worship service in Narva Alexander’s Cathedral.

12.30-13.30 – Excursion to the Ingria Museum in the tower of Alexander’s Cathedral.

14.00-16.00 – Lunch with national cuisine at the House of Ingria.

The events will take place over two days in the Narva House of Ingria, Narva Town Hall, Narva College of the University of Tartu and Narva Alexander’s Cathedral.
