Art dedicated to Livonians in Viljandi

As part of the international year of Livonian heritage, an art exhibition by the painters Andres Koort and Urmo Raus has been opened in Rüki art gallery in Viljandi.

Both Koort and Raus have Livonian roots, a grand parent of both was Livonian. This was an inspiration for the artists to explore their heritage and create the exhibition, titled “liiv-liivi” (sand-Livonian).

The exhibition is open until the end of July.
