Arvo Valtion, patron of Finno-Ugric cultures

The Estonian National Culture Foundation (ENCF) is accepting applications from 1 September to 15 October for grants and funding for cultural projects in 2027.

The ENCF provides support through various sub-funds:

  • to individuals, through scholarships for study and research, as well as for creative and sporting activities;
  • to organisations, through grants to initiate and fund projects that are significant for the development, preservation and transmission of Estonian national culture.

A sub-fund of the National Culture Fund: the Arvo Valton Finno-Ugric Literature Fund supports the creative work of writers from Finno-Ugric peoples.

The selection of scholarship recipients is organised by the Fund’s Administrative Council. Applications, together with the required attachments (application form, an extract from the manuscript), must be sent to: soomeugrikirjandustefond@gmail.com

The Board of Trustees consists of three members: Mihkel Kaevats, Nadežda Ptšelovodova and Jaan Õispuu.
