Georg Buljo Duo

Georg Buljo, a musician who gained fame and recognition as the guitarist for Mari Boine, one of the most famous Saami artists, will give concerts in Tallinn and Narva during the Kindred Peoples’ Days.

The Georg Buljo Duo concert is a musical exploration that encompasses Saami yoik, improvisation, and electronic soundscapes. The duo consists of Georg Buljo (yoik, percussion, guitar, electronics) and Per Willy Aaserud (trumpet, keyboards, vocals). They have been collaborating for nearly four decades, but the concert is based on the album Du dološ dálá áigi (“Your Lasting Past”), released in 2025.

The concert is supported by the Just Transition Fund.
