International Decade of Indigenous Languages

17 February is the Komi-Permyak Literary Language Day in the Russian Federation, celebrated since 2010. The purpose of this holiday is to popularise the Komi-Permyak language.

In May, the Estonian Language Board suggested eight proposals regarding the legal status of the South Estonian languages, Võro and Seto.
