Russian-Komi-Permyak dictionary published

A new Russian-Komi-Permyak dictionary containing over 21,000 words was presented at the Komi-Permyak Institute for the Advancement of Education in Kudymkar. The last such dictionary was published 150 years ago, according to the Ministry of Komi-Permyak Affairs of the Komi Region. The book was compiled by a group of authors and will soon be sent to libraries in the Komi-Permyak Region. The book is intended for a wide readership.

Allegedly, there was a 150-year gap before the dictionary was published. However, it is known that a similar dictionary was published in 1985 that contained as many as 27,000 Komi-Permyak words. In 1993, a Komi-Permyak-Russian and Russian-Komi-Permyak dictionary for students was published.
