Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug

The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug is the only part of the Russian Federation where support is provided to young indigenous families for the construction of shelters.

In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, signs describing sacred sites may appear. The idea was announced at a meeting of the Council of Indigenous Minorities of the North in Salekhard.

Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug celebrated their 93rd birthdays on 10 December.
