{"id":72514,"date":"2026-04-21T14:33:29","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T11:33:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/?p=72514"},"modified":"2026-04-21T14:33:30","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T11:33:30","slug":"competition-for-ilmapuu-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/competition-for-ilmapuu-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Competition for Ilmapuu Award 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nominations for the <a href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/grants\/kindred-peoples-programme\/awards\/\">Ilmapuu (World Tree) Award<\/a> under the Kindred Peoples&#8217; Programme are now accepted.\u00a0<strong>Nominations may be submitted\u00a0until 5 May 2026.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>With the Ilmapuu Award, individuals are recognised for outstanding civic initiatives:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>whose work is effectively and commendably linked to the cultural identity and survival of related peoples,<\/li>\n\n<li>who has made a significant contribution to strengthening co-operation with Finno-Ugric peoples and promoting awareness of these peoples in Estonia and throughout Europe.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Candidates can be nominated online\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/avaldus.eki.entu.ee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here (in Estonian)<\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Please be sure to review\u00a0Ilmapuu\u00a0Award\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eki.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Ilmapuu-auhinna-statuut.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">regulations (in Estonian)<\/a>.
