Also a new <a href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/organisation\/board\/\">board<\/a> was elected, composed of <strong>Madis Arukask<\/strong>, <strong>Sven-Erik Soosaar<\/strong>, <strong>T\u00f5nu Seilenthal<\/strong>, <strong>Anti Lillak<\/strong> and <strong>Aivar Ruukel<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The assembly&#8217;s chairman, vice-chair of the board and expert on indigenous peoples, linguist Sven-Erik Soosaar talked about the <a href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/fenno-ugria-in-unpfii-in-new-york-2025\/\">experience<\/a> of visiting the UN Permanent Forum for Indigenous Issues. Advisor <strong>Jaak Prozes<\/strong> invited people to plan together how to celebrate Fenno-Ugria&#8217;s 100th anniversary in 2027. Finally, journalist <strong>Kristi Kingo<\/strong> presented the new yearbook &#8220;Soome-ugri s\u00f5lmed 2024&#8221;.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default
