Chechnya, on the other hand, had the lowest crime rate, with only 14.6 crimes per 10,000 inhabitants, followed by Ingushetia and Dagestan.<\/p><p>In general, the low crime rates in the republics of the Northern Caucasus, such as Adygea and Kabardino-Balkaria, stand out.
