They presented the history and achievements of the department&#8217;s founding, as well as its most outstanding teachers and alumni. Representatives of Karelian governmental organisations and organisations of Finno-Ugric peoples congratulated the staff of the Department of Finno-Ugric Music. The jubilee evening featured performances by the folk music ensemble of the Kizhi Museum-Nature Reserve, Vesl\u00e4\u017eed, a folk music ensemble of Veps children, and the Kontupohja (Kondopoga) music school ensemble.
