Finno-Ugric peoples in a changing environment \n<\/strong>\u2013 Climate change impact on the daily life of Finno-Ugric peoples \n\u2013 Climate change - what will it bring? \n\u2013 Panel discussion: what should we do under climate change? \n<strong>4. Mass media channels \n<\/strong>\u2013 Traditional journalism \n\u2013 Social networks \n\u2013 Language resources in IT<\/pre>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/representative-bodies\/worldcongresses\/eighth\/resolution-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Resolution 2021<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\r\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\r\n<\/div><p>The World Congress bears the title \u2018Cultural Landscapes \u2013 Mind and Language\u2019 this time.&nbsp;The legal aspect of language policy has been deliberately left out of the Congress agenda as it would particularly affect the peoples living in the territory of the Russian Federation.<\/p><p>The following Finno-Ugric peoples are meeting in a hybrid format in Tartu: <strong>Mansi<\/strong> (4), <strong>Komis<\/strong> (15), <strong>Votes<\/strong> (4), <strong>S\u00e1mi<\/strong> (4), <strong>Izhorians<\/strong> (5), Ingrians \/ Finns of Ingria (5), <strong>Karelians<\/strong> (15), <strong>Vepsians<\/strong> (5), <strong>Livonians<\/strong> (5), <strong>Finns<\/strong> (10), <strong>Hungarians<\/strong> (15), <strong>Kvens<\/strong> (5), <strong>Setos<\/strong> (4), and <strong>Estonians<\/strong> (15).&nbsp;Observers from over 11 countries are joining the Congress as observers. Most delegations of Finno-Ugric peoples are participating in the Congress virtually.<\/p><p>The main organiser of the <a href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/representative-bodies\/worldcongresses\/eighth\/\">VIII World Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples<\/a> is the Fenno-Ugria Foundation. Working groups were&nbsp;designed in collaboration with the Consultative Committee of Finno-Ugric Peoples.
