Laureates of the Uralic Ethnic Studies Award and the Scientific Research Published In A Uralic Language Award are determined by an expert evaluation committee and approved by the Board of the Kindred Peoples\u2019 Programme.<\/p><p>The prize fund is 2,500 euros.<\/p><h2 id=\"heading-9b9dd87f\">Competition of 2024<\/h2><p>The awards are given out for a monograph, collection or full volume <strong>published within the past four years (2020\u20142024)<\/strong>. Anyone can make a nomination, and self-nomination is also permitted. This year, the competition welcomes the works of researchers who are based <strong>outside the Russian Federation<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Deadline for submitting nominations: <strong>05.09.2024<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Applications should be submitted electronically, the following information must be provided in <a href=\"https:\/\/avaldus.eki.entu.ee\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the electronic nomination form<\/a>:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-links\"><li><strong>Award<\/strong>&nbsp;-&gt; Specify the award category<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Uralic Ethnic Studies Award&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n<li>Scientific Research Published In A Uralic Language Award<\/li><\/ul><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Data of the nominee(s)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Nominator\u2019s contact details<\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Description of the application<\/strong>: description of the nominee\u2019s activities; nominee\u2019s CV<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Required documents<\/strong> that must be uploaded with the nomination:<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>published monograph, collection or full volume in .pdf format;<\/li>\n\n<li>1-2 references or expert evaluations (in Estonian, Russian or English);<\/li>\n\n<li>list of publications.<\/li>\n\n<li>Links to additional materials online, such as media coverage, photo galleries of events, etc., may be added.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p id=\"block-469b374b-b171-4389-b4ae-2e90b8281cf6\"><strong>NB!\u00a0<\/strong>All uploaded file names must include reference to the content of the document and the nominee\u2019s name! <em>For example: Reference_JohnSmith; ListOfPublications_JohnSmith.<\/em><br><strong>NB!\u00a0<\/strong>Since the electronic form cannot be saved before submission, please fill it out only once you have all the required documents at hand to be uploaded with the nomination.\u00a0 We kindly ask you to familiarise yourself with the statute of the award and the guidelines for nominating candidates.
