Seed capital of the Fund was 100 000 Estonian kroons (ca 6400 EUR). The Fund is managed by a 5-member board and administered by NPO Fenno-Ugria.                     <\/p>\r\n                                    <div class=\"header-block-content mt-4 mt-lg-6\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline-light\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/grants\/lennartmerifund\/board\/\">Board<\/a><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/grants\/lennartmerifund\/supporters\/\">Supporters<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\r\n                            <\/div>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"container-xl\">\r\n    <div class=\"row\">\r\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-9 article font-family-base mt-10 mt-lg-20 mb-16\"><div id=\"notice-block_03d881c5ba99cd0d22be583b24b2a731\" class=\"my-12 my-lg-16 pt-8 pb-6 px-6 bg-gray-100 border-secondary-left notice\">\r\n    \n<p>One-time and constant donations to the Waterfowl Fund can be made at:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>MT\u00dc Fenno-Ugria Asutus<\/strong><br><strong>EE937700771000674192 (LHV)<\/strong><br>(Payment reference: Waterfowl Fund, name and personal ID code)<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Many thanks for your support!<\/strong><\/p>\n\r\n<\/div><h3 id=\"heading-d3a45d02\">The scholarship belonging to Fenno-Ugria Foundation:<\/h3><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>is designated by decision of the Fund&#8217;s board to one or more youths up to 35 years of age;<\/li>\n\n<li>the Fund\u2019s board decides the designation of the scholarship based on the applicant\u2019s success in his speciality as well as the applicant\u2019s social activity;<\/li>\n\n<li>is paid once during the year;<\/li>\n\n<li>the possibility to apply for the scholarship is announced two months before the due date for the application\u2019s submission;<\/li>\n\n<li>the application must be submitted each year by 15 September;<\/li>\n\n<li>the recipient is announced during the Kindred Peoples\u2019 Day in October.<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/grants\/lennartmerifund\/fellows\/\">Fellows<\/a><\/div><\/div><p>To apply, an application must be presented with an overview of one&#8217;s activities in one&#8217;s own speciality and in society, as well as one or more recommendations. The Fund\u2019s board also has the right to institute the scholarship.<\/p><p>The fund was established by Fenno-Ugria&#8217;s board member <strong>T\u00f5nu Seilenthal<\/strong> on 20 June 2007, and its <a href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/grants\/lennartmerifund\/lennart-meri-waterfowl-fund-statute\/\">statute<\/a> was approved by Fenno-Ugria&#8217;s board on 28 September of the same year. The activity of the fund is managed by a 5-member <a href=\"https:\/\/fennougria.ee\/en\/grants\/lennartmerifund\/board\/\">board<\/a>. <\/p><p>&#8216;Waterfowl People&#8217; is Lennart Meri&#8217;s first documentary film that came out in 1970. It deals with the everyday life, ethnography, folklore and traditional culture of the Finno-Ugric and Samoyed peoples.<\/p><div class=\"my-12 my-md-16 px-4 pt-6 border-primary-top content-section\">\r\n    \n<h6 id=\"heading-69615e10\">Lennart Meri documentaries<\/h6>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>Veelinnurahvas<\/em>&nbsp;or &#8220;The Waterfowl People&#8221; is a documentary by Estonian Lennart Meri (1929-2006) released in 1970.
